Level Guide

Yellow Level

Whether just learning or still perfecting the following movements, yellow group is a great starting point for fundamentals and strong foundations (approx ages 4-6 yrs).

Has or is working on:

  • Toes to head

  • Walking down the wall to bridge

  • Forward & backward rolls to standing position

  • Teddy bear stand

  • Cartwheel

  • Inside-out’s in table top

  • Headstand & handstand on wall

  • Baby scorpion

  • Pre-splits (6 inches from the floor)

Has all Yellow skills and working on:

  • Bridge from floor, straight leg bridge, bridge walking

  • Straight, split and tuck headstand positions

  • Straight handstand hold

  • Cartwheel both sides, one-handed cartwheel and cartwheel from one knee

  • Handstand waterfall

  • Hurdle round off

  • Needle, leg hold and quarter scorpian balances

  • Inside-out’s from bridge

  • Pre-splits (4 inches from the floor)

Green Level

Purple Level

Has all Yellow & Green skills and now working on:

  • Bridge to elbows and bridge recover

  • Front & back walkovers, along with front & back limbers

  • Handstand to forward roll

  • Dive & pop cartwheels

  • Cartwheel waterfall

  • Handstand walking

  • Headstand cartwheel

  • Strong headstand, Chest stand, elbow stand, half scorpion balances

  • Inside-out’s jumping in & out of bridge

  • Pre-splits (2 inches from the floor)

Teal Level

Has confident Purple skills and now working on:

  • Tick tocks (right & left)

  • Moon walkovers

  • Back roll extension

  • Back walkover waterfall

  • Valdez

  • Stronger, faster, smoother walkovers and placed into combos easily

  • Strong headstand, chest stand, elbow stand, half scorpion & leg holds

  • Butterfly/side aerial

  • Standing back handspring

  • Front handspring

  • Tinsica

  • Full splits.

Blue Level

Still perfecting some teal skills but can do, or close to doing:

  • Standing side aerial

  • Front aerial

  • Round off back handspring

  • Kip-spring and head-spring

  • Handstand walking pirouette

  • Standing or round off back tuck, back pike, back layout, back layout step-out, etc.

  • Headstand push to handstand

  • Back handspring waterfall & aerial waterfall

  • One-handed or holding one leg valdez

  • Full scorpion

  • Tinsica

  • Full splits.
